    It all begins with an idea. I have prepared various project proposals and guided them through the investment process and to completion.

    This is an example of a proposal that I wrote alone. I researched the costs, produced the necessary drawings, and wrote the formal proposal.

    This is the final proposal, which was improved by working with the company’s stakeholders and receiving their input. This made the reason for the project more powerful.

    New projects need a clear vision, and teams need to feel empowered. They are successful if the task meets their goals and aspirations.

    Training and team-building are the most powerful ways to introduce and grow new processes or equipment.

    I have led multiple teams using various management philosophies and systems.

    My greatest success has been using the TQM—Total Quality Management System. The teams at General Mills, where I learned TQM, were successful and influential.

    Instead of inventing a description, I will “borrow” this description of TQM.
